You'll receive specialist training to maintain and repair critical survival equipment that safeguards pilots throughout their flying training and operational missions.Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:<ul><li>Repair and rectify all aircrew air systems</li><li>Perform routine maintenance on clothing, parachutes, ELTs, and flotation devices</li><li>Conduct stock checks and manage consumable supplies</li><li>Carry out weekly and monthly tool checks and maintain tool control standards</li><li>Manage sensitive data, asset allocation, and maintenance control systems.</li></ul>This role is full time working 40 hours per week and is based on site at Benson, Oxfordshire.Essential experience of the Trainee Survival Equipment Technician:A strong passion for engineering and aviation, with a keen interest in technical innovation and aircraft systems.Qualifications for the Trainee Survival Equipment Technician:We value difference and don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and/or willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.Security ClearanceSuccessful candidates must meet Ministry of Defence security clearance requirements, including at minimum a Baseline Security Check and Enhanced DBS.Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
