You’ll lead and motivate teams to deliver complex shipbuilding projects safely, on time, and within budget. This is your opportunity to make a tangible impact on national defence while advancing your career in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Day-to-day you’ll be:<ul><li>Managing front-line managers and driving daily business performance</li><li>Chairing planning meetings with stakeholders to align priorities</li><li>Reviewing and adjusting build plans to meet delivery targets</li><li>Overseeing volumetrics throughout the build programme</li><li>Collaborating with subcontract managers to mitigate downtime</li></ul>This role is full time, 36 hours per week Monday to Friday and is based on site at Rosyth.Essential experience of the Production Manager<ul><li>Knowledge of shipbuilding processes</li><li>Ability to interpret shipbuilding, piping, and mechanical drawings</li><li>Familiarity with zone working and modern outfitting methods</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project scheduling</li></ul>Qualifications for the Production Manager <ul><li>Time-served trade background</li><li>ONC/HNC preferred but not essential</li><li>Recognised safety training (e.g., IOSH, working at height, confined space)</li></ul>Security ClearanceThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
