This is a pivotal leadership role where your expertise will directly influence our ability to deliver critical national infrastructure projects safely, efficiently, and sustainably.Day-to-day, you’ll be:<ul type="disc"><li>Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure commercial compliance and performance.</li><li>Leading and mentoring a team of Commercial Managers to deliver strategic commercial outcomes.</li><li>Driving long-term strategy and identifying growth opportunities within regulated environments.</li><li>Supporting business unit leadership with commercial, supply chain and contract management expertise.</li><li>Reporting directly to the Commercial Director and partnering with the Head of Business Stream.</li></ul>You’ll work 37 hours per week, based at one of our Cavendish sites, including Warrington (Cheshire), Newbury (Berkshire) or Bristol, with 2–3 days onsite.Essential experience of the Head of Commercial<ul><li>Demonstrating strategic leadership in complex commercial environments.</li><li>Navigating commercial risk and compliance frameworks.</li><li>Working confidently with NEC contracts.</li><li>Bringing senior-level commercial experience within a regulated industry.</li><li>Managing teams and influencing senior stakeholders.</li></ul>Qualifications for the Head of Commercial<ul><li>A degree in a relevant discipline is beneficial.</li></ul>Security ClearanceThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
