We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious Business Development &amp; Capture Manager to lead our high performing team, of multidisciplinary experts, who are focussed upon delivering our ambitious growth targets.Day-to-day, you’ll be required to secure new “key” supplier relationships with the aim of increasing our ability to win new business. Whilst strategic pursuits will be the primary focus of this role, supporting our organic growth business will also be required.<ul><li>Delivery of strategic business growth within the Sense and Connect business, through the pro-active pursuit of competitive opportunities across the portfolio.</li><li>Actively support both internal (Organic) business growth and smaller adjacent and external “new” market opportunities, ensuring coherence with functional resources, Business Development and Strategy.</li><li>In co-operation with the Capability Leaders, develop and deliver a clear strategic campaign strategy to target business opportunities, leveraging Sense and Connect and wider Babcock capability and expertise, promoting a diversified portfolio.</li><li>Programme/Portfolio management of the delivery of these strategic campaigns from formulation to contract mobilisation.</li></ul>This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements&nbsp;Essential experience of the Business Development and Capture Manager:<ul><li>Experience in Business capture, solution development and business development with demonstrable success in previous roles.</li><li>Experience in working with customer and suppliers in the defence, Intelligence or Security domains.</li><li>Commercially astute, driven and with personal gravitas to lead on developing winning business solutions to some of our key strategic pursuits.</li><li>Experience and credibility working across Tri Service UK MOD and International markets sectors would be advantageous</li></ul>Qualifications for the Business Development and Capture Manager:<ul><li>Bachelors Degree in a relevant Business or Engineering discipline or equivalent relevant professional experience.</li></ul>Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance for this role.Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
