You will lead Infrastructure, Construction and Refurbishment Projects of varying size, value, and complexity through the full project lifecycle ensuring adherence to outlined cost, scheduling and risk baselines. &nbsp;Day-to-day, you’ll provide construction governance, technical and design support to internal and external stakeholders including third party subcontractors.&nbsp;<ul><li>Manage the construction process on a day-to-day basis, supervising the labour force, monitoring subcontractors, inspecting work, checking materials, and ensuring quality control standards are met.</li><li>Plan and monitor the project lifecycle from initiation to completion, focusing on cost, schedule, and quality.</li><li>Collaborate with Project Sponsors to agree on project plans and deliver regular Monthly Review Reports highlighting progress, deviations, and corrective actions.</li><li>Establish and maintain effective governance structures for project delivery, clearly defining roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities in alignment with the company’s Business Management System.</li><li>Coordinate the procurement of materials and equipment, manage project staffing, and lead collaboration with the design team including architects, engineers, and contractors.</li></ul>This role is full time, 37 hours per week worked across 4 and a half days, Monday to Thursday from 8am – 4.30pm and Fridays 8am until 1pm. This role is based on site at Rosyth Dockyard, Fife. You will work on the manufacturing of the 22 tactical missile tube assemblies as part of the common missile compartment (CMC) project for the UK Successor and US Ohio Class replacement submarine programmes.Day-to-day, you’ll safely perform welding and welding related tasks in a production environment supporting the Successor Project.<ul><li>Execute welding tasks using SMAW, GMAW-P, GTAW, SAW, and Arc Air Gouging processes, adhering to essential variables and project specifications.</li><li>Operate Welding Equipment Safely: Set up and operate welding plant in line with standard operating procedures, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.</li><li>Conduct visual inspections of welds to meet contract and project requirements; perform basic visual checks and maintain welding plant functionality.</li><li>Use digital and thermal devices for temperature monitoring, manage pre-heating equipment, and ensure accurate control of welding consumables.</li><li>Carry out daily machine checks, report faults promptly, and contribute to ongoing process improvements in a production environment.</li></ul>This role is full time, 39 hours per week and is based onsite our Rosyth Dockyard, Fife site. These roles are worked on a shift pattern of both days and nights.
