Ensuring that our project delivery teams understand the Risk and Uncertainty within their contracts and are managing it effectively to deliver for the Business and our Customers.Day-to-day, you’ll support one or more of our Major Projects throughout the project lifecycle by owning the Project Risk Management processes and leading and supporting their implementation.<ul><li>Author, implement and maintain the Project Risk Management plan, taking all contractual requirements and project complexity into consideration. Input on Risk Management in other key documents.</li><li>Lead Risk identification activities and authoring for the Projects, actively maintain and manage the Projects Risk Registers in the database, ensuring data quality.</li><li>Conduct Quantitative Risk Analysis&nbsp;for the Projects&nbsp;including running SRA in Safran and assessing Cost exposure through quantitative methods.</li><li>Manage and deliver Risk Reporting and KPIs in line with Stakeholder requirements and Babcock Project Management Framework</li><li>Support the Discipline lead in the roll out of Risk Management training and guidance, acting as a lead professional with the Risk Community and providing subject matter expertise to the Projects&nbsp;and wider Business Unit within which they reside.</li></ul>This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.Essential Experience of the Risk Manager - Projects and Programmes<ul><li>Recent experience as a Risk or Project Controls Professional, implementing Risk Management methodologies, processes, systems and tools throughout the project lifecycle.&nbsp;</li><li>Identifying Risks through a variety of techniques, risk definition and analysis and treatment methodologies.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience conducting Quantitative Risk Analysis, analysing Exposure, Uncertainty and setting Contingency.</li><li>Experience managing and treating risk, influencing Project/Programme decision making and integrating with wider Project Controls processes, such as Baseline Management and Change.</li><li>Integrated Risk, Assumption, Issue &amp; Dependencies Management experience desirable. &nbsp;</li></ul>Qualifications for the Risk Manager - Projects and Programmes<ul><li>Degree level qualification in Risk, Project Management, Engineering or related field desirable.</li><li>Relevant certifications or qualifications in risk management or related fields e.g. Project Controls.</li></ul>Security Clearance The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
