The role

As a Technical Training Instructor, you'll play a key role in developing a skilled, safe and high-performing workforce. Working closely with operational teams, you'll deliver engaging technical training, assess competence, support continuous improvement initiatives and help build the capabilities that drive operational success.

Day-to-day, you will be:

Delivering classroom, workshop, on-the-job and digital training programmes.
Supporting employee onboarding and skills development activities.
Conducting competence assessments and providing coaching to individuals and teams.
Maintaining training records, learning management systems and competency frameworks.
Using training data and feedback to drive continuous improvement and operational effectiveness.

This role is site-based with regular travel to locations across the UK and potential travel to other DSG sites.

Essential experience of the Technical Training Instructor:

Experience delivering technical or vocational training.
Experience supporting workforce development and capability improvement.
Ability to engage and influence learners from a range of technical backgrounds.
Experience assessing competence and providing coaching or mentoring.
Strong organisational and communication skills.

Qualifications for the Technical Training Instructor:

RQF Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant technical or trade discipline.

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
