This is an exciting opportunity working collaboratively towards the delivery and construction of Sizewell C Nuclear Power Station based in Suffolk.Day-to-day, you’ll be part of the Supply Chain team responsible for the effective procurement and tender of supply chain requirements relating to MEH (Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC) and associated equipment services.<ul><li>Support the development and refinement of SZC’s Company Acquisition Plan and procurement strategies for MEH services and equipment.</li><li>Lead the Invitation to Tender (ITT) process and develop long-term contracting strategies.</li><li>Maintain market understanding, due diligence, and implement performance measures for contracts.</li><li>Drive supplier development, quality improvement, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Collaborate with Supply Chain teams to set metrics and incentivise suppliers to achieve performance objectives.</li></ul> This is a full-time role (37 hours per week) offering hybrid working, with approximately 20% of your time spent at our Bristol hub and 80% working from home. There may be very occasional travel to other locations, including London and supplier sites across the UK and Europe.&nbsp;Essential experience of the Supply Chain Specialist:<ul><li>In-depth knowledge of Procurement and Contract Management processes and best practices.</li><li>Experience within Nuclear, Defence, Mechanical, or Engineering sectors, or on complex projects, is highly advantageous.</li><li>Proven expertise with NEC contracts is strongly desirable.</li><li>Ability to foster collaboration and promote effective teamwork by acting as a mentor and role model.</li></ul>Qualifications for the Supply Chain Specialist:<ul><li>MCIPS qualified, working towards MCIPS, or holding an equivalent professional qualification is desirable.</li><li>A degree-level qualification (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline is advantageous.</li></ul>Security ClearanceThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
