You’ll take ownership of delivering the Ship Project to plan on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and scope. This is a pivotal role where you’ll integrate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, supply chain, production, and quality to achieve exceptional results.&nbsp;Day-to-day you’ll be required to:&nbsp;<ul><li>Build and lead an integrated project delivery team across multiple functions.</li><li>Manage customer interfaces and key stakeholders, ensuring strong relationships.</li><li>Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing effective responses.</li><li>Drive world-class performance through continuous improvement and technology adoption.</li><li>Oversee governance, reporting, and compliance to deliver against project objectives.</li></ul>&nbsp;This role is full time, 37 hours per week Monday to Friday and is based on site at Rosyth.&nbsp;Essential experience of the Senior Ship Project Manager<ul><li>Extensive recent experience in a similar environment or business sector.</li><li>Full project lifecycle experience from bid phase through to close out.</li><li>Proven ability to manage complex projects involving diverse products and services.</li><li>Strong knowledge of contracting methodologies (e.g., FIDIC, NEC, JCT).</li><li>Cross-functional awareness of lifecycle requirements for supporting functions.</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications for the Senior Ship Project Manager<ul><li>Ideally a bachelor’s degree in engineering, project, or construction management (or related field).</li><li>Postgraduate qualification desirable, as is membership of a professional body.</li><li>APM Chartered Professional (ChPP) or working towards this within 12 months.</li></ul>&nbsp;Security ClearanceThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.&nbsp;Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
