As a Business Support Administrator Receptionist, you'll be at the heart of our operations, helping to create a seamless experience for colleagues, customers and visitors alike. You'll support the day-to-day running of a dynamic defence and security environment, ensuring administrative processes are delivered efficiently and professionally. Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:
- Deliver a professional and welcoming front-of-house service, proactively managing all aspects of the visitor journey. Including coordinating site access and security clearances, issuing visitor passes, arranging meeting rooms and associated catering/hospitality requirements and provide a high-quality meet-and-greet service for visitors.
- Management of Business Support mailbox, including processing of classified information. Accountable for ordering office consumable supplies (stationery, paper)
- Accountable for booking domestic and international travel (including hotels, flights, public transport, car hire) for Babcock employees supporting project and Customer requirements.
- Involvement with Special Projects, thinking outcomes, collaborate on special or other continuous improvement projects as requested.
This role is based on site at our Tewkesbury site and is 37 hours per week. Set working times are Monday to Friday, 7:45am to 3:45pm.
Essential experience of the Business Support Administrator Receptionist
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint etc) suite, Adobe Acrobat and other office productivity tools.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, respond to enquiries, resolve issues, and escalate concerns appropriately.
- An understanding of the Defence and Security industry would be beneficial

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) and Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance for this role. Must be Sole UK National.
