The role

As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll support critical logistics operations by ensuring materials are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently and safely. Working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll play a key role in maintaining stock accuracy and meeting daily operational targets.

Day-to-day, you will be:

  • Receiving, checking, and storing incoming materials accurately
  • Picking, packing, and dispatching orders in line with operational requirements
  • Maintaining stock accuracy, including certification and shelf-life checks
  • Operating material handling equipment and supporting general warehouse duties
  • Following health and safety procedures to ensure a safe and compliant workspace.

This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, based on site at Catterick, with working hours of 07:00 – 15:30 Monday to Thursday and 07:00 – 12:00 Friday.

Essential experience of the Warehouse Operative:

  • Basic IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft applications
  • Experience working within warehouse or logistics environments
  • Understanding of warehouse or MRP systems
  • Awareness of stock control and inventory processes
  • Knowledge of systems such as SAP or MJDI (desirable)

Qualifications for the Warehouse Operative:

  • MHE (Material Handling Equipment) licence – preferred but not essential.
  • MJDI MA Qualification – preferred but not essential.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
