Essential Experience of the Sustainability Assistant:

  • Demonstrating a genuine commitment to environmental and/or social sustainability issues.
  • Showing a desire to develop transferable skills and build experience within a sustainability function.
  • Displaying curiosity, initiative and a willingness to learn.
  • Possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills, alongside strong numeracy and digital literacy.
  • Applying strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively.

Qualifications for the Sustainability Assistant:

Essential:

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, Economics, Political Science, Geography, History, Literature, Social Sciences or Communications
  • Recent completion of a related graduate-level apprenticeship.

Desirable:

  • Additional study, training or experience related to sustainability, environmental management, corporate responsibility or environmental, social and governance reporting.
