Job Description: Sales Manager

Location: Western Europe

Salary: c.£35 - 50k + bonus

Reports to: Sales & Marketing Manager

Overview

Our client is a veteran owned engineering company that has been operating for over 45 years, with a base in the UK, as well as Germany and India. They manufacture machine tool accessory products for lathes and machining centres and have a growing client base. They specialise in workholding (power chucks, rotary tables, vices etc.), workhandling (robot grippers) and automation systems predominately for high precicion metal cutting. To service the demand, they are looking for a proactive veteran with sales experience and who can converse in French and/or Italian. This is an opportunity to work for an ambitious company with global expansion plans.

Candidate Profile

• Some machine shop experience on CNC Lathes and Machining centres
• GCSE’s or equivalent in English and Maths

The candidate must be:

• Mechanically confident
• Able to travel independently throughout Europe in an unmonitored fashion
• Must be fluent in an European language (ideally French or Italian)
• Able to write clearly and confidently (in English only)
• Proficient in MS Office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Good modern technology husbandry (operating a go-pro, basic image manipulation, etc)
• Friendly personality and willingness to learn
• Able to operate and contribute within a team structure

Salary: £35K - 50K pa (bonus after first year and at directors’ discretion)
