As an Integrated Product Support Manager, you'll be at the heart of delivering support solutions for a groundbreaking Land Cyber and Electro Magnetic Activities programme, helping to ensure the UK Army remains at the cutting edge of defence technology. This is a customer-facing leadership role where you'll work alongside highly skilled engineers, managers and technicians to shape the future support strategy for sophisticated military systems.
Working across engineering, supportability, logistics and programme delivery, you'll influence how complex equipment is maintained, sustained and optimised throughout its operational life. Your expertise will help ensure critical defence capabilities remain mission-ready, supporting those who protect the nation. Day-to-day, you’ll be the key IPS liaison between the Authority and the Babcock Land CEMA Team. Supporting the Lead and Principal Engineers to ensure compliance requirements, while delivering objectives to ensure readiness to deliver support to each in-service element. As an IPS Manager you shall:
- Planning and controlling IPS-related management tasks in interdisciplinary teams throughout the entire project life cycle. Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and managing IPS milestone deliveries against time, quality and cost.
- Coordinate and manage the Supportability, AR&M, Technical Communication and Training workstreams.
- Develop, manage, and maintain the IPS programme plan, deliverables, and assurance activities. Participate in assurance activities to validate the overarching Supportability Case.
- Act as the Projects Subject Matter Expert, providing advice and guidance. Through building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Represent the IPS function as primary Point of Contact (PoC) for Land CEMA projects internally and externally.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
Essential experience of the Integrated Product Support Manager
- Demonstrable experience of working throughout the engineering lifecycle to ensure the artifacts for the project delivered to the highest standard for the project to the customer.
- A good understanding of cross domain and cross boundary requirements development and interface control.
- Determining and Managing Stakeholder Requirements, Life Cycle Tailoring, Verification, Validation and Transition to Operation.
- Understanding of accreditation processes for Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) and bespoke software.
Qualifications for the Integrated Product Support Manager
- Degree or equivalent in Engineering such as HNC/HND with relevant experience

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) and Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance for this role. Must be Sole UK National.
