A leading client in the Rail Rolling Stock Industry is recruiting for Vehicle Painters to work on a long term contract basis, working on a shift pattern (days and nights) based at their site in Widnes, Cheshire.The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing rail vehicles and components to the highest quality standards. This role is crucial in ensuring the trains meet the stringent aesthetic and durability requirements expected in the industry.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Surface Preparation:&nbsp;Clean, sand, and prepare surfaces of rail vehicles and components for painting, ensuring all areas are free of dirt, rust, and imperfections.</li><li>Application of Paint:&nbsp;Apply primers, base coats, and finishing coats using spray guns, rollers, and brushes, following detailed specifications and colour codes.</li><li>Inspection and Quality Control:&nbsp;Conduct thorough inspections of painted surfaces to identify and correct any defects, ensuring a smooth and even finish.</li><li>Touch-Up Work:&nbsp;Perform touch-up painting and refinishing as needed to address any imperfections or damages.</li><li>Safety Compliance:&nbsp;Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ventilation systems.</li><li>Maintenance of Equipment:&nbsp;Maintain and clean all painting equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and ready for use.</li><li>Record Keeping:&nbsp;Document all work performed, including paint types, color codes, and job completion dates, in accordance with company policies.</li><li>Collaboration:&nbsp;Work closely with other team members, including engineers and maintenance personnel, to ensure that projects are completed on time and to specification.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience:&nbsp;Have worked spraying Vehicles or Machines to same calibre.</li><li>Skills:&nbsp;Proficiency in various painting techniques and methods, including spray painting. Familiarity with different types of paint and finishing products.</li><li>Attention to Detail:&nbsp;Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.</li><li>Knowledge:&nbsp;Understanding of health and safety regulations related to painting operations, including the use of hazardous materials.</li><li>Communication:&nbsp;Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.</li><li>Physical Requirements:&nbsp;Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various positions.</li></ul> &nbsp;

Morson Talent are seeking a Warehouse Coordinator for a leading Aerospace company based in Oxford.It is a 6 moth contract, 37.5 hours a week£12.72 per hour PAYE / £17.01 per hour UmbrellaDescription/ Responsibilities: • To coordinate the operation of a work area within the Material Management Warehouse as specified by the Segment Manager. • To support the Team Leaders, supporting Senior Management in the implementation of Company Policy and Procedure. • To achieve optimum stock turn and handling • To provide necessary support to Management in pursuance of overall Divisional and Company targets. • Adhere to all documented Company Quality System procedures when carrying out operational duties. • Conduct material orders / movements in the correct priority sequence. • Ensure all items are unloaded / handled according to company /airworthiness directives. • To build and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external contacts. • Develop and maintain a teamwork approach to working with colleagues. • To identify and resolve issues of a problematic nature at onset. • To ensure the application of SAP and any other business tools consistent with the training received and all work instructions within your possession. • To maintain departmental administrative systems and provide accurate documentation in order that support functions can operate efficiently. • Achieve set targets and objectives. • To operate cross functionally across the Warehouse functions (inbound / outbound / repairs / tool control). • To provide regular reports on work in progress to the Team Leaders.The post holder would ideally have the following Knowledge and Skills: • Experience with the aviation supply chain is preferred. • Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to communicate with both customers and colleagues at all levels of seniority and liaise effectively with other internal departments. • Good security awareness and understanding of the vulnerability of stock within a warehouse environment. • Good organisational skills, ability to prioritise and work effectively, whilst maintaining compliance to company policies and procedures. • Proven experience of working in a target lead environment and delivering to KPI’s. • Fully conversant with Microsoft Office, Excel, and OutlookEducation, Qualifications or Training • Experience of driving forklift truck equipment and hold certificate of attendance of relevant training preferred • Full UK Driving License
