The role As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be utilising your commercial expertise in support of the client for a major decommissioning project. This offers an excellent opportunity to further develop within a quantity surveying discipline as part of a growing project. Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for overseeing commercial activities, such as contract change and administration, amongst provision of commercial advice and guidance.<ul><li>Provide commercial support and expertise to projects being responsible for a range of commercial activities (bid governance, reviews, change management, compensation event contractual notices, etc.)&nbsp;</li><li>Undertake internal compliance, liaising with the relevant Head of Commercial and customers as required&nbsp;</li><li>Support the CNL Project Managers with all commercial aspects on the project&nbsp;</li><li>Develop relationships with key stakeholders ensuring alignment of objectives and mutual setting of goals&nbsp;</li><li>Understanding of the head contract terms and conditions and how these flow down to the Subcontract supply chain&nbsp;</li><li>Proactively ensures contract compliance exists and proposes and monitors correction plans to ensure any non-compliance is eliminated&nbsp;</li></ul> This role is full time, thirty-seven hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with three days in the office/onsite and two days working from home and is based at our Birchwood, Warrington hub.Essential experience of the Senior Quantity Surveyor <ul><li>Demonstrable experience in a Quantity Surveying role</li><li>Strong commercial acumen&nbsp;</li><li>Experience in supporting projects and change initiatives using appropriate methodologies&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of standard forms of contracts, such as NEC3&nbsp;</li><li>Detailed understanding of business requirements and ensures these are adequately provided for in the overall sourcing strategy&nbsp;</li><li>Good understanding of day to day commercial administration in regulated industries</li></ul>Qualifications for the Senior Quantity Surveyor <ul><li>Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or have a relevant degree&nbsp;</li></ul> We value difference and don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and/or willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
