Essential Experience of the Senior Quality Engineer<ul><li>A proficient quality assurance engineer with experience in a related industry and be familiar with how quality applies throughout a product or service delivery lifecycle.</li><li>Previous customer-facing role or experience is beneficial.</li><li>Experience of implementing quality improvements and encouraging culture change within a team or organisation.</li><li>Experience of auditing quality ISO9001 management systems.</li><li>An excellent working knowledge of quality tools and problem-solving techniques, and be able to provide guidance to others in their use (e.g. Pareto, FMEA, 5 why’s, 8D, etc.)</li><li>Knowledge of continuous improvement tools and able to give examples of how you have used them in previous situations.</li></ul>Qualifications for the Senior Quality Engineer<ul><li>ONC, HNC or NVQ Level 3 qualification in a quality, science, engineering discipline are desirable.</li><li>Membership of a recognised quality institute e.g. CQI is desirable.</li><li>ISO 9001 auditor preferable but training can be provided.</li></ul>Security ClearanceThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions. This role will directly shape the success of a strategically vital defence bid, helping to deliver cutting-edge rotary wing training capabilities to international partners.Day-to-day, you’ll lead the ICRWT bid as Bid Lead, working in close partnership with the Opportunity Lead and subject matter experts across the business to design and deliver a robust, strategically aligned bid programme. We are flexible on location however will require frequent UK and EU travel to internal and external sites.Essential experience of the Bid Programme Director<ul type="disc"><li>Business Winning Expertise: Proven track record in applying recognised business winning methodologies across the full bid lifecycle, with the ability to shape strategy during early capture phases.
