This is a unique opportunity to be part of a critical phase in the nuclear lifecycle, contributing to national safety and sustainability.Day-to-day, you’ll<ul><li>Support the safe execution of planned operations in line with work pack instructions</li><li>Conduct safety inspections and behavioural observations</li><li>Brief working parties and subcontractors, and set them to work</li><li>Follow company procedures and safety protocols</li><li>Lead by example, with a 50/50 split between supervisory duties and hands-on work</li></ul>This is a permanent position, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (08:00–16:30, with a 13:00 finish on Fridays). The role is site-based at Torness Nuclear Power Station, near Dunbar, in East Lothian, Scotland with occasional planned overtime.Essential experience of the Site Supervisor:<ul><li>Supervisory experience in a technical field or previous delegated responsibility</li><li>Experience in highly regulated environments</li></ul>Qualifications for the Site Supervisor:<ul><li>Level 4 (HNC) in a relevant Engineering discipline or Level 3 with an approved apprenticeship</li></ul>Security ClearanceThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
