This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your technical expertise will directly contribute to the UK’s energy security and sustainability.Day-to-day, you’ll<ul type="disc"><li>Apply high standards to fuel route work preparation and execution</li><li>Provide technical fault finding, reporting and operational oversight</li><li>Advise stakeholders including Senior Leadership, Operations and Engineering teams</li><li>Prepare and execute fuel route work in line with safety policies</li><li>Ensure compliance with site licence requirements and statutory regulations</li></ul>This is a full-time, onsite role based at Torness Power Station near Dunbar, East Lothian, working 37 hours per week.Essential experience of the EC&amp;I Engineer:<ul type="disc"><li>Working with industrial control systems (PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, drives, analogue systems)</li><li>Delivering engineered solutions using electrical control equipment and instrumentation</li><li>Fault finding and resolving engineering issues in a safe and effective manner</li><li>Experience in nuclear or other regulated industries (e.g. petrochemical, pharmaceutical)</li><li>Understanding of legislation, ACOP, Safe Systems of Work and industry standards</li></ul>Qualifications for the EC&amp;I Engineer:<ul type="disc"><li>HNC / HND in relevant engineering discipline&nbsp;</li></ul>Security ClearanceThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) security clearance for this role.
