If you join us, you can play your part as an IT Service Manager at Andover, Hampshire.The roleAs an IT Service Manager, you’ll act as the vital link between our customers and Babcock IT, ensuring seamless delivery of existing services and supporting the transition of new solutions.Day-to-day, you’ll shape how technology empowers operations across all Babcock sectors making a real difference to national security and your own career growth<ul><li>Manage customer relationships through regular executive communication and site meetings.</li><li>Support service transition activities, ensuring expectations are met and changes understood.</li><li>Collaborate with the Business Engagement Team to create proposals for bids and operational requirements.</li><li>Drive adoption of new services and ways of working, supporting business change initiatives.</li><li>Ensure compliance with sector-wide standards and manage exceptions through risk processes.</li></ul>This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2/3 days onsite and 2/3 days working from home.Essential experience of the IT Service Manager<ul><li>Experience managing operational IT delivery teams or issues.</li><li>Strong understanding of IT and its relationship to business operations.</li><li>Ability to write and present reports for senior stakeholders.</li><li>Experience with IT budgets and/or commercial negotiations (beneficial).</li></ul>Qualifications for the IT Service Manager<ul><li>PRINCE2 or equivalent Project Management qualification (desirable).</li><li>ITIL Foundation or Practitioner certification (desirable).</li></ul>Security ClearanceThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) &nbsp;security clearance for this role.Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
