If you join us, you can play your part as a Senior Product and Process Safety Engineer at Rosyth, near Dunfermline, Fife.&nbsp;&nbsp;The roleAs a Senior Product and Process Safety Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering large-scale projects for global clients. This position will focus on advancing the safe design and operation of marine Cargo Handling Systems and Fuel Gas Systems used in the transportation and storage of liquefied gases such as LNG, LPG, LCO2, and emerging alternative fuels.&nbsp;In addition to supporting project delivery, the role will be instrumental in early-stage concept development, providing Product &amp; Process Safety support for new technologies, novel products and evolving market areas.&nbsp;&nbsp;Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:<ul type="disc"><li>Leading internal and external safety workshops including HAZID, HAZOP, SIL determination and verification.</li><li>Collaborating with New Product Development and Project teams to prioritise safety activities across global programmes.</li><li>Managing documentation and ensuring compliance with quality management systems.</li><li>Coordinating training and development for the safety engineering team.</li><li>Overseeing direct reports and ensuring delivery of safety outputs to project timelines.</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;This role is full time and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.&nbsp;&nbsp;Essential experience of the Senior Product and Process Safety Engineer:<ul type="disc"><li>Good working knowledge of Product and Process Safety systems; HAZID, HAZOP, SIL and LOPA.</li><li>Familiarity with IEC 61511 – Functional safety – Safety instrumented systems for the process industry sector</li><li>Familiarity with software packages such as UNISIM and PHAST is desirable.</li><li>Strong technical and analytical skill – specifically in process safety.</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;Qualifications for the Senior Product and Process Safety Engineer:<ul type="disc"><li>Degree qualified in Process, Chemical or related Engineering discipline.</li><li>Extensive experience in Process Safety Engineering.</li><li>We will consider Engineers desiring to return to work after a career break with appropriate previous experience</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;Security ClearanceThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain BPSS security clearance for this role.&nbsp;Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
