If you join us, you can play your part as a Security Guard at Devonport, near Plymouth, Devon.&nbsp;<a></a>The roleAs a Security Guard, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to protect people, assets and infrastructure at one of the UK’s most strategic defence sites. This is more than just a security role, it’s a chance to contribute to national safety and support the Royal Navy’s critical operations.&nbsp;Day-to-day, you’ll be part of a professional team that ensures secure access to Devonport’s Limited Areas, working closely with internal and external stakeholders including MoD security teams.&nbsp;<ul><li>Collaborating with MoD and other security forces to maintain site safety</li><li>Conducting patrols on foot and in vehicles to prevent unauthorised access</li><li>Responding to alarms, medical alerts, and emergency situations</li><li>Greeting staff and visitors, assigning security access in line with protocol</li><li>Promoting a strong security culture by challenging non-compliance</li></ul>&nbsp;Please note that the successful candidate will be expected to work a flexible schedule, including weekend shifts, as required.&nbsp;This is a full-time role working an average of 37 hours per week on a rolling shift pattern and is based on site at Devonport, Plymouth.&nbsp; &nbsp;Essential experience of the Security Guard<ul><li>Ability to work independently and make effective decisions</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Proven customer service skills and relationship-building ability</li><li>Comfortable working variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays</li><li>Experience in site patrols and emergency response</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications for the Security Guard&nbsp;<ul type="disc"><li>Full SIA License required upon start date</li><li>Full UK Driving License</li></ul>&nbsp;Security ClearanceThe successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC)&nbsp; security clearance for this role.&nbsp;Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
