You’ll support the Quality Manager to achieve project objectives and drive continuous improvement across the T31 project. We have four exciting opportunities available: two permanent roles and two 18-month fixed-term contracts.Essential experience of the Quality Control Inspector – Structural&nbsp;<ul><li>In-depth understanding of Quality Control fundamentals.</li><li>Ability to assess work carried out by production teams and subcontractors to assure quality and technical standards.</li><li>Excellent knowledge of Quality Control requirements for naval warship construction and acceptance.</li><li>Broad knowledge of warship construction and design, with sound judgement to ensure compliance with specifications.</li><li>Knowledge and understanding of Measurement Management Systems and ISO10012.</li></ul>Qualifications for the Quality Control Inspector – Structural&nbsp;<ul><li>Qualified to a recognised trade standard (Fabrication/Welding/Shipwright/Marine Engineering) and relevant academic level (HNC/SVQ Level 3).</li><li>CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent (AWS CWI/SCWI, CWB CWI Level 2/SCWI Level 3).</li><li>Minimum PCN Level 2 in either MT or PT (desirable).</li><li>Additional NDT or coatings inspection certifications are advantageous.</li><li>IPAF preferable.</li></ul>Security ClearanceThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
