You will be carrying out essential driving duties with precision and professionalism whilst fully compliant with Road Traffic Legislation, Road Transport Law, and Service Publications.&nbsp;Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:&nbsp;<ul><li>Plan and forecast transport requirements up to 14 days ahead, aligning complex customer needs with available drivers and resources.</li><li>Supervise and manage driver hours daily, ensuring compliance with Road Transport Law and Service Publications.</li><li>Issue vehicles and documentation to customers and internal drivers, following all policies and service directions.</li><li>Process vehicle faults and breakdowns promptly, adhering to policy and notifying relevant authorities.</li><li>Prioritise operational tasks at short notice, maintaining flexibility and responsiveness.</li></ul>&nbsp;This role is full time working 38.5 hours per week and is based on site at RAF Northolt.&nbsp;Essential experience of the Transport Controller Supervisor:<ul><li>Proven experience in planning transport routes and allocating drivers to tasks.</li><li>Strong knowledge of EU driving hours legislation, ensuring full compliance.</li><li>Supervisory experience within a Mechanical Transport department.</li><li>Previous MOD Mechanical Transport experience (desirable).</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications for the Transport Controller Supervisor:<ul><li>Time-served background in the transport industry or MOD.</li><li>Full, clean UK driving licence with categories B, C, and D, plus Digital Card and DCPC Qualification Card.</li><li>ADR Class 1 &amp; 3 certification (desirable).</li><li>Experience in planning daily operational rotas (desirable).</li></ul>&nbsp;Security ClearanceThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.&nbsp;Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
