As a Security Officer, you’ll join a growing business unit within Mission Systems to help provide around the clock security cover at our Tewkesbury site.<ul type="disc"><li>Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing staff and visitors of policy and procedures; deterring trespassers</li><li>Compiling reports by recording observations, information, incidents, and surveillance activities</li><li>Ensuring the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors, and the premises</li><li>Maintaining environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls</li><li>Securing premises with regular patrolling of property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry if required</li><li>Obtaining help by sounding alarms including marshalling</li></ul>This role is full time, 42 hours per week and is based on site at Ashchurch working a shift pattern; 4 working days, 4 days off, 4 working nights, 4 days off.Essential experience of the Security Officer<ul><li>Ideally you will have previous security experience, but this is not essential.</li></ul>Qualifications for the Security OfficerWe value difference and don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and/or willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Developed Vetting&nbsp;(DV)&nbsp;security clearance for this role.Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
