Leading our multi-site and multi-disciplined operations team based on our client EDF’s Nuclear sites.Day-to-day, you’ll managing the safe delivery of projects, tasks and services as required by EDF.<ul><li>Develop and manage the operations capability across the portfolio of site-based teams.</li><li>Provide operations leadership to the site teams, including communicating the vision and strategy for the operations site-based capability.</li><li>Responsible for stakeholder management, establishing and maintaining effective communications between Cavendish Nuclear and the client.</li><li>Accountable for managing multi-disciplinary teams based across multiple customer sites, carrying out various activities which may include engineering, installation, operations maintenance, commissioning, and decommissioning depending on the project site.</li><li>Lead and coordinate Health, Safety, Security, Quality and Environmental for our site teams.</li></ul>Please note that this position involves travel/working across a range of internal and customer sites, as a requirement of the role.This role is full time, 37 hours per week and requires regular travel to Hartlepool, Heysham and Torness on a weekly / monthly basis alongside home working arrangements.Essential Experience of the Operations Manager:<ul><li>Strong interpersonal skills and effective communicator.</li><li>Experience of works planning and oversight.</li><li>Experience of managing and delivering projects within a complex environment.</li><li>Experience of deploying teams safely within the engineering or construction industry.</li></ul>Qualifications for the Operations Manager:<ul><li>NEBOSH or IOSH health and safety qualification.</li><li>MAPM is preferred but, not essential.</li></ul>Security ClearanceThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
