To provide professional leadership, direction and management, to ensure that the Fleet AFV Operations Department meets all the requirements of the Contract within Combat Manoeuvre Centre (CMC). You will be the lead liaison with Babcock DSG Bovington over the prioritisation of CMC MRO activity Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities: • &nbsp; &nbsp;Represent the Fleet Operations Department in liaison with the Authority and other agencies. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Coordinate the recruitment of staff for the Fleet Operations Department. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Manage staff expectations and issues at local level. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Produce reports and statistics regarding Fleet availability, status and performance within the Contract. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Take responsibility for the health and safety of all colleagues within the Fleet operations DepartmentThis role is full time and based onsite at Allenby Barracks in Bovington.Essential experience of the Fleet Operations Manager: • &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to manage resources both human and equipment, in order to meet the requirements of the customer • &nbsp; &nbsp;People and team management skills and experience. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Experience in improvement and/or optimisation activity Qualifications for the Fleet Operations Manager: • &nbsp; &nbsp;IT literate with a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
