Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our radiation protection procedures.Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for developing and delivering radiation models and performing detailed calculations for shielding design, dose assessments, and neutron activation analysis.<ul><li>Prepare high-quality shielding reports and calculation notes, and perform thorough verification of technical work produced by others.</li><li>Provide supervision and mentorship to junior technical specialists within the shielding discipline.</li><li>Collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary teams to proactively identify shielding challenges, ensure consistent methodologies, and deliver timely, expert support to all project stakeholders.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement by contributing to the development and refinement of shielding procedures and best practices.</li></ul>This role is full time, 37 hours per week, adaptable and can be delivered from various locations, and provides hybrid working arrangements with two days in the office per week.
