This role blends technical expertise with dynamic collaboration, giving you the chance to make a real impact on national security while advancing your career in a world-class engineering environment.&nbsp;Day-to-day, you’ll coordinate production control activities to support equipment repair and overhaul for Royal Navy Submarine and Warship programs, ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and effective collaboration with customers and internal teams. &nbsp;<ul><li>Process equipment survey reports, identifying and ordering additional materials, sub-contracts, and labour requirements.</li><li>Maintain delivery against commercial contracts.</li><li>Provide technical support to bids for new work and variations on current projects.</li><li>Plan assigned work scopes for projects/contracts to enable control documentation for Production teams.</li><li>Estimate work packages, including labour and material requirements.</li></ul>This role is full time 35, hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.Essential experience of the Production Engineer<ul><li>Experience creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs).</li><li>Understanding of milling, turning, and drilling activities.</li><li>Knowledge of material specifications.</li><li>Ability to write and deliver technical reports.</li><li>Skilled in interpreting technical drawings.</li></ul>Qualifications for the Production Engineer<ul><li>NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or Manufacturing discipline (or equivalent technical experience).&nbsp;</li></ul>Security Clearance The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPPI) security clearance for this role. &nbsp;Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
