This is a pivotal stage in the build process, where your expertise ensures that systems and equipment installations are commissioned to the highest safety and quality standards. Your work will make a tangible difference to national energy security and will accelerate your career development in the dynamic world of defence, aerospace, and engineering.&nbsp;Day-to-day you’ll be:<ul><li>Coordinating and delivering work packages from installation through to commissioning</li><li>Monitoring and driving quality reporting and evidence from contract partners</li><li>Maintaining system handover procedures, guidelines, and work instructions</li><li>Managing and updating the handover database</li><li>Collaborating with the OCC Manager and engaging daily with project installers and completions teams</li></ul>&nbsp;This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based at our Hinkley site, in Bridgwater, Somerset.&nbsp;Essential experience of the System Handover Engineer:<ul><li>Previous project engineering experience</li><li>Background in mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, or instrumentation engineering</li><li>Experience working within multi-discipline teams</li><li>Understanding of CDM regulations</li><li>Familiarity with handover databases (e.g., WinPCS, Opus, Switch Asset Suite)</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications for the System Handover Engineer<ul><li>Project Management qualification (APM PPQ or Prince2)</li><li>Degree beneficial but not essential</li></ul>&nbsp;Security ClearanceThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
