It’s a great opportunity to build a meaningful career in defence, aerospace and engineering, while developing your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.&nbsp;Day-to-day you’ll be:<ul type="disc"><li>Issuing and receiving equipment, maintaining supplies, and supporting Combat Engineers during training</li><li>Transporting, erecting, and dismantling equipment for exercises</li><li>Supporting resource management services such as snow and ice clearance, damage control, and porterage</li><li>Carrying out sentry duties and watermanship safety tasks</li><li>Performing technical maintenance and preparing for audits and inspections</li></ul>&nbsp;Please note that this position involves manual work. This could include lifting, bending, using tools or standing for extended periods of time.&nbsp;This role is full time, 37 hours per week and can be based at either our Minley or Chatham sites.&nbsp;Set working times: Monday to Thursday, 08:00–16:30, and Friday, 08:00–16:00. Any work outside of these hours is considered overtime and is paid at enhanced rates.&nbsp;Essential experience of the Logistic Support Operative:<ul type="disc"><li>Ability to swim</li><li>Experience with manual handling</li><li>A UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications for the Logistic Support Operative:We value difference and don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and/or willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.&nbsp;Security ClearanceThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) clearance for this role.&nbsp;Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
