You will support the Senior Quantity Surveyor in delivery of task objectives, building the facility of a dedicated QS team within Naval Base Projects Division.Day-to-day, you will develop contractual standards and processes within the team in line with business needs on a whole life contractual and costing basis. Responsibilities include:<ul><li>Constantly challenging tendering and procedure strategy to maximise and improve business performance.</li><li>Controlling and measuring cost and quality performance with Project Officers to ensure service levels are in line with business objectives.</li><li>Developing and providing estimates for cost and feasibility studies.</li><li>Ensuring that appropriate use is made of the company's IT capabilities to maximise efficiency.</li><li>Implementing continuous improvement and best practice and contribute to business initiatives in accordance with the Operational, Technical and Health, Safety and Environmental standards.</li><li>Measuring, valuing, negotiating and agreeing valuations and final accounts to the maximum benefit of the company.
