Partnering with a brilliant multi-disciplinary consultancy – global in reach&nbsp;yet boutique in feel&nbsp;– we’re seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our client’s London&nbsp;Building&nbsp;Services team and play a pivotal role in&nbsp;&nbsp;important and&nbsp;classified building projects within the Defence sector&nbsp;as well as selected commercial and mission critical sector projects. Due to the sensitive nature of the work, applicants must already hold&nbsp;&nbsp;a suitable level of&nbsp;security clearance or be eligible to obtain it. Eligibility&nbsp;for higher levels of clearance&nbsp;typically requires&nbsp;candidates&nbsp;to be British-born, with both parents also British-born, and have been a resident in the UK for the past 10 years. You will be required to join a site-based team, working on location within the M25&nbsp;circle&nbsp;for circa 2 to 3 days a week.&nbsp;The standard working week is 37.5 hrs, on a flexible working basis with typically 3 days a week in the office or site location and 2 days WFH or office/site as per mutually agreed arrangement. Your Role: • Lead electrical design on complex,&nbsp;&nbsp;projects&nbsp;across multiple sector types including Mission critical, commercial and Defence sectors • Collaborate with a talented multi-disciplinary&nbsp;building services&nbsp;teams&nbsp;alongside PM’s Architects, QS’s, Structural Engineers and specialists • Deliver innovative, sustainable, and technically excellent solutions to exacting Defence standards. What you’ll bring:• Proven track record as an Electrical Design Engineer in building services (6 to 10 years +), ideally working for a consultant or design orientated&nbsp;role with Contractor.• Strong experience in delivering projects from concept through to completion. • Excellent technical, organisational, and communication skills. • Security clearance (or full eligibility to obtain it).
