This is a role where leadership meets purpose: you’ll ensure safety, quality, and operational excellence while shaping the future of clean energy and national security. It’s an opportunity to make a tangible impact on society and accelerate your career in a dynamic, high-hazard environment.Day-to-day, you’ll be:<ul><li>Managing resource planning and team development to maximise performance.</li><li>Ensuring training and technical compliance across all staff.</li><li>Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Leading and motivating a service delivery team to meet schedules and quality standards.</li><li>Driving health, safety, environmental, and security compliance through example and accountability.</li></ul>This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Sellafield, near Seascale, Cumbria.Essential experience of the Radiological Protection Manager:<ul><li>Background in nuclear or other regulated/high-hazard industries.</li><li>Strong track record in managing people and delivering work scope execution.</li><li>Proven experience in an engineering, technical service, or scientific discipline.</li></ul>Qualifications for the Radiological Protection Manager:<ul><li>Understanding of Radiological Protection (RPI) is highly desirable.</li><li>Relevant scientific or engineering qualification (e.g., apprenticeship or degree).</li></ul>Security ClearanceThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance for this role.
