We have four exciting opportunities available: two permanent roles and two 18-month fixed-term contracts.&nbsp;Essential experience of the Quality Control Inspector – Structural&nbsp;<ul><li>In-depth understanding of Quality Control fundamentals.</li><li>Ability to assess work carried out by production teams and subcontractors to assure quality and technical standards.</li><li>Excellent knowledge of Quality Control requirements for naval warship construction and acceptance.</li><li>Broad knowledge of warship construction and design, with sound judgement to ensure compliance with specifications.</li><li>Knowledge and understanding of Measurement Management Systems and ISO10012.</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications for the Quality Control Inspector – Structural&nbsp;<ul><li>Qualified to a recognised trade standard (Fabrication/Welding/Shipwright/Marine Engineering) and relevant academic level (HNC/SVQ Level 3).</li><li>CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent (AWS CWI/SCWI, CWB CWI Level 2/SCWI Level 3).</li><li>Minimum PCN Level 2 in either MT or PT (desirable).</li><li>Additional NDT or coatings inspection certifications are advantageous.</li><li>IPAF preferable.</li></ul>&nbsp;Security ClearanceThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.&nbsp;Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
