You’ll be part of a team that empowers others, enhances operational readiness, and contributes to the safety and security of the UK.Day-to-day you’ll be:• &nbsp; &nbsp;Delivering Astute-class ship control training in a specialised facility • &nbsp; &nbsp;Liaising with training design teams to provide subject matter expertise • &nbsp; &nbsp;Reviewing and evaluating technical data and change notifications • &nbsp; &nbsp;Ensuring training meets prescribed standards, quality, and cost targets• &nbsp; &nbsp;Supporting students with varying levels of experienceThe role is based onsite at HMNB Clyde, and the set working times are 37 hours per week.Experience required of the Ship Control Instructor: • &nbsp; &nbsp;In-depth knowledge of ship control systems operations&nbsp; • &nbsp; &nbsp;Experience managing submarine control rooms&nbsp; • &nbsp; &nbsp;Background in the Royal Navy submarine service&nbsp; • &nbsp; &nbsp;Previous training delivery experience (desirable)&nbsp; • &nbsp; &nbsp;Recent Astute-class submarine experience (desirable)&nbsp;Qualifications for the Ship Control Instructor: • &nbsp; &nbsp;Warrant Officer or Senior Rating within the Royal Navy&nbsp; • &nbsp; &nbsp;DTC / DTTT qualification (advantageous)&nbsp;Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
