Whether you're refining existing models or exploring new simulation techniques, your work will have real-world impact on the systems that keep our naval forces mission-ready.This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid/remote working arrangements.Essential Experience of the Senior Fluid Analyst<ul type="disc"><li>Experience in fluid analysis in a high integrity environment</li><li>A good understanding of first principle fluid dynamics.</li><li>A history of working to and improving fluid methodologies.</li><li>Experience using Computational Fluid Dynamics (Babcock use Fluent and CFX), 1D modelling (Babcock use Python, Matlab and AMESim).</li><li>Experience of transient 2D and 3D analysis.</li></ul>Qualifications for the Senior Fluid Analyst<ul type="disc"><li>Mechanical Degree, or HND or HNC in an Engineering Discipline with demonstrable experience and capability.</li></ul>Security ClearanceThe successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
