The role
As a Training Support Administrator, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be at the centre of training operations, ensuring trainee records, course schedules and documentation are accurate, compliant and ready when needed. Your work will directly support contractual commitments, operational readiness and Babcock’s reputation for excellence. Alongside exposure to a highly regulated defence environment, this role offers strong foundations for career development within training, administration or wider defence programmes.
Day to day, you’ll be required to:
- Maintaining accurate trainee records and updating training data systems
- Coordinating course schedules, bookings and amendments to meet programme timelines
- Providing front of house support, welcoming trainees and visitors while following safety and security requirements
- Managing documentation, training materials and configuration controlled records
- Supporting assessments, reporting and general administration that keeps training delivery running smoothly
The role is based onsite at Faslane Clyde, and the set working times are Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
Essential experience of the Training Support Administrator:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office based role
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage accurate records
- Confident use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience working with databases or information management systems
- Experience working in a busy and dynamic office environment
Qualifications for the Training Support Administrator:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
