The role
As a Training Support Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of our submarine training operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Your work will directly support the Royal Navy’s mission by maintaining accurate training records, managing course schedules, and delivering exceptional front-of-house service. Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
- Maintain and update trainee records using JPA and TAFMIS systems
- Coordinate training schedules and course bookings to meet operational needs
- Provide front-of-house support, welcoming trainees and visitors
- Manage documentation and training materials, ensuring version control and compliance
- Support assessments, reporting, and general administrative tasks
This is a full-time, permanent position based onsite at Faslane. You’ll work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Essential experience of the Training Support Administrator:
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Experience working with databases or training systems
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Qualifications for the Training Support Administrator:
- There are no essential qualifications required for this role. However, experience in document control, configuration management, or working in a service delivery environment would be advantageous.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
