Lead supply chain operations supporting critical aviation services

As a Supply Team Lead, you will oversee the day‑to‑day operation of the supply stores function, ensuring the safe custody, control and availability of equipment in support of operational requirements. You’ll provide leadership to the supply team, manage stockholding activity and budgets, and ensure all supply chain processes are delivered safely, efficiently and compliantly.
Day-to-day, you will be:
- Leading and supervising the supply stores team to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to required standards.
- Managing stockholding activity, including the safe custody, control and issue of equipment.
- Controlling the domestic equipment budget and ordering stock as required to support operational demand.
- Maintaining building custodian responsibilities, including fire checks, records and reporting maintenance issues.
- Ensuring risk assessments and COSHH records are maintained and that supply areas are kept clean, safe and compliant.
This is a full‑time, onsite role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Essential experience of the Supply Team Lead:
- Previous supervisory experience within supply chain, logistics or stores operations.
- Experience working in a military or comparable regulated civilian environment.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors throughout the year.
Qualifications for the Supply Team Lead:
Full, valid UK driving licence.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
