The role
As a Supply Chain Planning Specialist, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will ensure critical materials are available to keep life-saving helicopters flying and supporting missions that make a real difference to communities.
Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
- Optimise inventory by managing stock levels, reducing obsolete items, and ensuring safety stock for fast-moving parts
- Forecast and manage material availability, including repair orders and expediting as needed
- Produce and share reports, coordinating with Engineering and Tool Store to ensure calibrated tooling availability
- Coordinate international movements of components/tools, ensuring compliance with import/export and trade regulations
- Maintain Approved Vendor List (AVL) and supplier documentation in line with UK Civil Aviation Authority requirements.
This role is full time working 37 hours per week and is based on site at Gloucestershire Airport, Staverton.
Essential experience of the Supply Chain Planning Specialist:
- Proven experience in planning, scheduling, inventory management, logistics, or supply chain operations
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage multiple, sometimes conflicting tasks effectively
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
