As a Supply Chain Administrator, you’ll be a vital part of the Naval Nuclear Supply Chain team, helping ensure the seamless flow of goods and services across highly regulated, safety‑critical programmes. This is a role with real responsibility, visibility and impact supporting operational delivery while developing valuable supply chain and commercial skills within a world‑class engineering organisation.

Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:
- Supporting procurement activities by contacting suppliers, requesting pricing and placing purchase orders within agreed limits
- Managing supplier order books and monitoring delivery milestones to keep projects on track
- Maintaining accurate data through system updates, reporting and administration tasks
- Coordinating with internal teams to support supplier performance and programme improvement plans
- Building effective working relationships with stakeholders across the business and supply chain
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days onsite and 3 days working from home.
Essential experience of the Supply Chain Administrator
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- A proactive, self‑motivated approach with a positive, can‑do attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills across different areas of the business
Qualifications for the Supply Chain Administrator
- NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration (or equivalent)
- GCSEs in Mathematics and English Language at Grade C / 5 or above
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
