Join our Mission Systems team and play a vital role in supporting global defence operations. In this fast-paced environment, your expertise will help ensure materials, equipment and assets are managed with precision powering mission-critical programmes across defence, aerospace and engineering.

The role

As a Senior Warehouse and Logistics Operative, you’ll be responsible for the smooth running of store and logistics operations within a secure and highly regulated environment. Your work will directly support operational readiness, enabling the safe, timely delivery of essential equipment and services.

This is an exciting opportunity to work internationally, gaining exposure to complex defence projects while developing your logistics, asset management and operational skills. You’ll collaborate closely with service delivery teams and customers, making a real difference to programme success.

Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:

  • Managing day-to-day warehouse and stores operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy
  • Using asset management systems to track and account for materials and equipment
  • Carrying out Portable Appliance Testing to maintain compliance and safety standards
  • Supporting procurement activities and assisting service delivery and customer teams
  • Collaborating with colleagues across teams to ensure smooth operational delivery

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and based onsite in the Middle East. Shift patterns for this role are Sunday to Thursday, 07:00 to 15:00, with an early finish on Thursday.

Essential experience of the Senior Warehouse and Logistics Operative

  • Demonstrating strong experience working within a warehouse, stores or logistics environment
  • Using asset management systems and associated tools to track and manage inventory
  • Applying good information technology skills, including Microsoft Office and databases
  • Working effectively as part of a small, multi-skilled team
  • Supporting operational delivery in fast-paced or customer-focused environments

Qualifications for the Senior Warehouse and Logistics Operative

Essential:

  • City & Guilds 2377 – PAT testing (or the aptitude to gain this qualification).

Desirable:

  • Evidence of previous experience in Asset & Crypto Management
  • Telehandler & Forklift Truck operator (or the aptitude to gain this qualification)
  • IOSH managing / working safely

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Enhanced Developed Vetting (EDV) security clearance for this role. Sole UK nationals only.
