The role

As a Senior HR Business Partner, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract offering the chance to influence key initiatives across a complex and high-profile environment. You’ll partner with senior leaders, support change programmes, and ensure our workforce is equipped for the future. This is an opportunity to make a real impact while developing your expertise in a dynamic, forward-thinking organisation.

Day-to-day, you’ll take a leading role in designing and delivering people strategies that drive organisational success.

  • Act as the HR representative in cross-functional forums, contributing to organisational priorities
  • Partner with senior leaders to design and deliver people strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Support managers in planning and executing change initiatives
  • Lead strategic workforce planning to meet future skills and capability needs
  • Drive continuous improvement through progressive HR practices and initiatives.

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the office/onsite and 2 days working from home.

Essential experience of the Senior HR Business Partner

  • Significant HR experience within large or complex organisations
  • Proven track record of delivering strategic HR initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Ability to lead and support organisational change and performance improvement
  • Commercial awareness with capability to design pragmatic, business-focused solutions
  • Skilled at working through complexity with integrity, collaboration, and resilience

Qualifications for the Senior HR Business Partner

  • Degree or Level 7 HR qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • CIPD membership and recent CPD (preferred)

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
