The role
As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll play a vital role in shaping the future of defence infrastructure. You’ll be supporting the delivery of transformational programmes that enable the Royal Navy’s submarine maintenance capabilities.
Day-to-day, you’ll be working on complex asset management systems, helping to design, build and commission facilities that support national defence. You’ll collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver innovative digital solutions that make a real-world impact.
- Leading medium to large-scale transformation projects and delivering solutions across complex asset management systems
- Delivering detailed requirements, solutions and functional specifications
- Modelling business information and producing system design documentation
- Developing strong customer relationships built on trust and collaboration
- Working with technical architecture teams to shape system architecture and documentation
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.
Essential experience of the Senior Business Analyst
- Proven experience in requirements capture and management
- Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle in both waterfall and agile environments
- Skilled in modelling business and information systems
- A general interest in applying IT solutions to solve business challenges
Qualifications for the Senior Business Analyst
- Degree in an IT-related discipline or equivalent professional experience
- BCS Business Analyst Diploma - Desirable
