The role
As a SAP Solution Lead P&SC, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be at the heart of our digital transformation journey, shaping and enhancing the systems that power our procurement and supply chain operations. This is a pivotal role within our SAP Service and Programme organisation, where your expertise will directly impact operational efficiency, innovation, and our ability to deliver critical services to defence and
Day-to-day, you’ll be:
- Designing, configuring and supporting SAP ECC6 and Ariba modules for Procurement and Supply Chain Planning.
- Leading functional and configuration support for Coupa solutions across Source to Contract (S2C), Requisition to Pay (R2P), Analytics and Open Business Network.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and blueprint solutions.
- Creating and maintaining documentation including business processes, functional specs, test scripts and training materials.
- Driving continuous improvement and troubleshooting across SAP and Coupa platforms.
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and can be based near our Lakeside Portsmouth site, or a key Babcock hub, including Bristol, Plymouth, London etc with hybrid working arrangements and occasional travel.
Essential experience of the SAP Solution Lead:
- Extensive hands-on experience as a SAP Solutions Lead within Procurement & Supply Chain and able to demonstrate previous Source to Contract, Requisition to Pay, Analytics configuration, releases, and support experience.
- Previous configuration support across Materials Management, Investment management, Materials Requirement Planning, Production Planning, Supply Chain Planning, Logistics Execution and Ariba Modules.
- Excellent understanding of business processes and integrations within Procurement & Supply Chain and related solutions required to deliver the service.
- Integration experience with Finance, Logistics, Project Systems, Timesheets, HR, Asset Management and Operations.
Qualifications for the SAP Solution Lead:
- A university degree or relevant experience in Procurement & Supply Chain.
