The role
As a Project Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be at the heart of a major transformation programme, supporting the SAP migration across our Mission Systems business.
Day-to-day, you’ll be
- Leading project delivery and ensuring milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
- Managing stakeholder relationships across multiple business units, influencing and driving collaboration.
- Overseeing project controls, reporting, and governance to support informed decision-making.
- Motivating and guiding your team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to keep the programme on track.
This role is full time role with 37 hours per week based in at Bristol or Plymouth, Devon. Hybrid working patterns are available.
Essential experience of the Project Manager:
- Proven experience in project management within a complex or regulated industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Knowledge of project controls tools and their application for decision-making.
- Commercial and financial acumen with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Qualifications for the Project Manager:
- PMQ or PPQ (desirable) or equivalent project management qualification.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
