The role
As a Production Planner, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to national security, develop your skills in a dynamic environment, and build a career with purpose.
Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, providing planning expertise that enables successful project delivery.
- Analysing and interpreting work specifications to meet customer requirements
- Linking all elements of work to comply with the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
- Processing emergent or additional work to keep projects on schedule
- Managing enablement risks and facilitating lookahead reviews
- Building strong relationships with clients and resolving technical requirements
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.
Essential experience of the Production Planner
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders
- Awareness of Project Management Tools and their application across the lifecycle
- Experience with Project Delivery Framework and Project Management principles
- Knowledge of project planning and lifecycle processes
- Proficiency in Planning, Estimating, Production Systems, and SAP (desirable)
Qualifications for the Production Planner
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in engineering, project, or construction management (or equivalent experience)
- APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) – Desirable

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
