The role
As a HR Administrator, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be at the heart of our Contracts and Onboarding (C&O) team, supporting new starters and existing employees across all Babcock sites. This is a dynamic and rewarding role where your work will directly contribute to the smooth onboarding of talent into our business, helping us deliver critical services that protect nations and communities.
Day-to-day, you’ll be:
- Supporting and managing cases from the People Advisor Team, ensuring service level agreements are met
- Facilitating the administration of employment contracts and onboarding processes
- Engaging with hiring managers and candidates to provide timely updates
- Recording HR data accurately and aligning with payroll deadlines
- Collaborating with the wider PeopleCentre team to deliver a seamless employee experience
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with hree days in the office/onsite and two days working from home.
Essential experience of the HR Administrator:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced HR environment
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service
Qualifications for the HR Administrator:
- Standard Grades including English and Mathematics
- CIPD Level 3 (desired but not essential)
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
