The role

This is a brilliant opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project. The alliance work across the project to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main Mechanical, Electrical, Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (MEH), cabling and associated support services. This innovative approach will help different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework in the power station’s vast network of rooms.

Day-to-day, you'll be required to:

  • Maintaining and updating payroll trackers, ensuring employee information is accurate and up to date.
  • Collecting, logging and distributing payroll forms, including holiday, absence, lodge and pay query documentation.
  • Producing payroll reports and supporting the creation of payroll metrics and management information.
  • Assisting with payroll-related inductions and providing administrative support including document management, spreadsheets and meeting notes.
  • Responding to payroll queries and supporting the wider payroll team to deliver an excellent employee experience.

This role is based at Hinkley Point C. You will work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a rotational later shift approximately once every eight weeks. The role is primarily site-based, with home working on Fridays.

Essential experience of the Payroll Coordinator:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced administrative environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience managing and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, particularly spreadsheets and reporting tools.
  • Experience within payroll administration or payroll support would be advantageous

Security Clearance
